Born and raised in the Washington D.C. area, Perryn earned a degree in Information Technology from Philadelphia University. After nearly two years as a software analyst, she departed from the technology industry to pursue a career in fashion. Perryn relocated to New York City and began her fashion career interning at Marc Jacobs while attending Parsons The New School. After graduating, Perryn spent several seasons working at Cynthia Rowley. In 2011, Perryn launched her name sake line catering to the needs of petite women. As a petite woman herself, she understands the struggles associated with fit and finding contemporary petite wears. The Perryn Ryan Collection offers women 5'4" and under, who struggle with tops or bottoms fitting too long, contemporary and casual looks in playful patterns and neoclassic silhouettes.
