Deliver Mindful Making: Meditation Incubator

The Business Meditation Incubator series is a 3-day weekend intensive focusing on business strategy and audience development through contemplative inquiry. This workshop helps manufacturers develop contemplative awareness, practices and tools for the work environment. This workshop will cultivate organizational methods and processes that create a mindful, present, authentic, focused honest and reflective organization and business decision making.

Each participant will leave the series with 2 deliverables: 1) A map of strategic initiatives and action steps for their business and 2) An audience marketing profile based on meditation, mindfulness and visualization exercises. In addition, they will learn contemplative tools for stress management.

Marketing Collaborations Series

The Marketing Collaborations Workshop is an intensive, 6-part workshop conducted by Pratt Visiting Professor of Architecture Gonzalo Carbajo and Pinar Guvenc, partners in Eray Carbajo, an architect/design firm based in Brooklyn.  This workshop will teach manufacturers the basics of business diagnosis to help them identify their marketing goals and needs, and how to go about identifying partners for successful marketing collaborations. This is an deep touch opportunity to focus in on and strategize how to bring your business to the next level through collaborative partnerships. Manufacturers must commit to all 6 sessions to participate.

Design Strategy for Business

The Design Strategy series is a 3-part workshop series for manufacturers who are looking to gain a more “design strategic” approach to business. Design strategy links design and business activities into a creative and cohesive strategy for creating value and sustainable business advantage. This series will start with a diagnosis of current business practice then build on exploring design strategy tools with the final workshop focusing on real-life implementation. Manufacturers must commit to all 3 sessions to be able to participate.
